Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through Wild Meadow Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”), including online jewellery sales and in-person purchases.


This policy should be read alongside our full Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility for Returns

2.1 Non-Custom Jewellery

You may return standard (non-custom) jewellery items within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To be eligible:

  • Custom or personalised jewellery

  • Made-to-order items

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)

  • Workshop bookings

  • Gift vouchers

  • Digital downloads

  • Jewellery that shows signs of wear, damage, alteration, or misuse

These exclusions are permitted under UK consumer law.

3. Faulty Goods

3.1 Faulty Within 30 Days

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you must notify us within 30 days of receipt.
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3.2 Faults After 30 Days

After the initial 30-day period, we will inspect the item and offer:

  • A repair (where possible), or

  • A replacement, or

  • A partial refund where appropriate

Wear and tear, accidental damage, or issues arising from improper care are not covered

Customers are responsible for:

  • Return postage costs

  • Ensuring items are packaged securely

  • Using a tracked delivery method

We are not liable for returns lost in transit.

5. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Refunds will not be granted if an item:

  • Shows obvious wear

  • Has been altered or damaged

  • Is returned outside of the return period

  • Falls under the excluded categories

Postage costs are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed faulty.

6.Cancellations (Online Orders)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel an order for a standard (non-custom) item before it is dispatched.
Custom and personalised orders cannot be cancelled once work has begun.

7. Workshop Bookings

Workshop bookings are non-refundable.
Customers may reschedule to another available date with at least 48 hours’ notice.
No-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or refunds.
If we cancel a workshop, a full refund or new date will be offered.

(Workshops are governed by their own Workshop Terms.)

8. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable, valid for 12 months, and must be redeemed in one transaction.

9. Repairs, Cleaning & Soldering Services

Repair and cleaning fees are non-refundable once work has started.
Work carried out on jewellery with pre-existing wear or weakness is performed at the customer’s own risk.
